apibrėžtis Inžinierius, kuris planuoja ir prižiūri įvairių pastato sistemų (šildymo, vėdinimo, kondicionavimo, sanitarinės technikos, apsaugos nuo gaisro ir pan.) projektavimą, įrengimą ir suderinimą. Atsižvelgdamas į keliamus poreikius, jis nustato reikiamų sistemų ir įrenginių tipus, numato jų maitinimo šaltinius, automatinio reguliavimo ir valdymo įrenginius. Jis gali dalyvauti rengiant jau naudojamų sistemų tobulinimo projektus, juos diegiant, prižiūrėti atliekamus darbus.
